Cotton baby's unlined kimono with shibori (tie-dyeing) pattern. It is never worn and brand new condition. It has the stamps of the passing the inspection, price, product place etc. It was made in Aichi prefecture. 5 rice bags made of indigo dyed cotton fragments which are recycled from old cotton kimonos, futonji and so on. All of them are indigo dyed and the patterns are:stripes, checks, kasuri(ikat), plain etc. Some of them are hand-spun cotton. The rice bag was used when people contributed rice or grain to a shrine or a temple, or exchange them as gifts. Most of the bags are in excellent condition but one has some wear and holes. Also one cord is damaged (the smallest one)...

Woman's juban (under kimono) made of plain weave silk fragments which are old meisen cloth, lining cloth for haori and so on. All the fragments are sewn by hand. It has hand-stitched embroidery of waves and appliqued plovers in the lower front. It was worn in winter as it has thin silk floss in between.
