This is a Sueki lidded bowl with a leg. Sueki is a hard earthenware which is shaped on the wheel and burnt in the kiln with rather high temperature. It was made between 5th to 9th century in many places in Japan　and the original technique was came from Korea. The usage of it was keeping food or liquid, or used in rituals. Probably this one was used in a ritual. Generally in good condition except for two chips in the bowl. Height:12cm Diameter:12cm

This is a Korean earthenware with legs. which was burnt in the kiln with rather high temperature. Generally in good condition but has lost legs and two chips in the rim. Height:28cm Diameter:26cm

This is a roof tile used for the Buddhist temple and has the molded lotus flower pattern. This tile was put in the rim of the roof. In excellent condition. Age is not clear, possibly 18th or 19th century. Diameter:15.5cm Length:39.5cm Weight:2.5kg

This is an old suribachi ( earthenware mortar ) which was used for grating grains or seeds such as soybeans and sesames. It was probably produced in Echizen region in Fukui prefecture　near Kyoto. In excellent condition. 18th or 19th century. Diameter:35.5cm Height:12cm Weight:3.4kg

This is a set of koimari hakuji ( white glaze ) small plates in pretty flower design. In excellent condition. Late edo period ( 18th to mid 19th C ). Diameter 10.5cm 4" Depth 3cm 1"1/5

This is a beautiful celadon suiban produced in Hirado ( located in Nagasaki prefecture in Kyushu region ). Suiban is used for flower arrangement or bonseki ( miniature dry garden ). It is called "Hirado-yaki" which was first produced in the early 17th C. in the region. In good condition without any chip or crack.
