| This is a set of boy's stage kimono for Kabuki or traditional Japanese dance. Kabuki is one of the traditional performing arts which is performed only by male actors. It was very popular in late 16th century and has been so till these days. This is a full set of kimono, han-juban ( under kimono ),kataginu & hakama ( kamishimo ) and a pair of tabi ( socks ). Kamishimo has "Takara-zukushi" design which were appliqued. Takara-zukushi is a design with many kinds of treasures such as lucky mallet, sacred gem, straw raincoat which can be a shield to hide, hand scroll, gold pouch, cloves, mandarine orange flowers etc. They have some stains, but in good condition as a whole.
