| This is a Mizugoromo (travel cloak) which looks like haori ( short jacket ) without lining. It is worn by a man as well as woman. It generally symbolizes an old man, a priest, and a commoner worker. It is made of hand-spun pongee silk and dyed with indigo. It used to belong to one of the museums in Tokyo.
