| This is a silk fukuro-obi for a formal kimono. Fukuro-obi is a sash woven in tube-shape and usually one side has patterns and the other side is plain. It has beautiful karakusa pattern woven with colorful threads for wefts. Produced in Nishijin in Kyoto. Used and has some wear in the pattern and a few ink stains in the back.
