| This is a small boro top and pants. It has many mending patches which are mostly hand-woven and natural indigo dyed cotton fragments. In colder areas such as Japan Sea side and Tohoku, cotton could not been cultivated and it was so precious that people wore till it was worn out and mended. The former half of the 20th century.
