Japanese Vintage Urushi Lunch Box With Makie
This is a bentō-bako (lunch box) which contains plates and boxes. All made of wood and coated with urushi. It has Makie of plum flower motif. Generally in good condition but the sliding lid is a bit tight because of buckle from aging and hair line cracks in one of the plates. Also, the outer box has mending in the top corner. The former half of the 20th century. Dimension: 22.4cm x 12.8cm x 22cm
