Japanese Antique Textile Asa Suō and Hakama

This is a set of suō and hakama which are worn on a stage or at a ceremony. Suō (top) is a wide-sleeved overgarment worn by samurai. They are made of hemp. The suō has laces in front and ornaments in the crests made of deerskin. Generally in good condition but has some stains. 19th century. Suō:184cm x 84cm Hakama:L 83cm
