Sash made of thin wool muslin with scenery of a fishing village. The lining is black silk satin. Wool muslin was first woven in late 19th century in Japan and it was used for a shawl and juban (under kimono) etc. The wool muslin is in excellent condition but the black silk satin is a bit weak and has some rips. Late 19th to early 20th century. 27cm x 3m28cm
