Han-juban (short under kimono) which is made of several kinds of silk crepe, katazome (stencil-dye) and plain. All the pieces are recycled from used kimonos and beautifully remade into the han-juban. The silk crepe pieces are called "Edo chirimen" which are high quality soft silk crepe and dyed with vegetable dyes. Generally in good condition but has some dirt in the removable white collar. The silk lining cloth is dyed with benibana (safflower). The latter half of the 19th century. 123.5cm x 65cm
