Three kome-bukuros, The larger two are made of asa (hemp) Omi kasuri cloth and the smallest one is made of thick silk brocade. Omi kasuri was handwoven in Omi in Shiga prefecture near Kyoto. It is warp and weft e-gasuri (kasuri with design) and the kasuri threads are dyed with bord-clamped in Meiji period. The larger two have beautiful patchworks, the left one is hemp cloth and the right one is silk crepe. The tree have beautiful patchwork in the bottoms. Late 19th to early 20th century. In excellent condition. The left one:31cm x 19cm The right one:27cm x 16.5cm The bottom one:15cm x 18.5cm
