Cotton han-juban (short under kimono) with rare one variation of suji-shibori (pleated stripes). The cloth is hand-spun cotton and dyed with natural indigo. The sleeves are made of hemp which is Omi-kasuri produced in Omi in Shiga prefecture. In good condition except for some dirt in the collar and several holes in the top part of one of the sleeves. Late 19th to mid 20th century. 124cm x 68cm
