Han-juban (short under kimono) made of several kinds of silk cloth which are recycled from old kimono. They are: benibana-dyed silk crepe, plain weave silk with shibori (tie-dyeing), silk crepe with katazome (stencil-resist dyeing). The lining is thin white cotton. In excellent condition except for a small stain in the upper part of the right sleeve. Late 19th to early 20th century. 122cm x 57cm
