Japanese Antique Ceramic Celadon Suiban Edo
This is a beautiful celadon suiban produced in Hirado ( located in Nagasaki prefecture in Kyushu region ). Suiban is used for flower arrangement or bonseki ( miniature dry garden ). It is called "Hirado-yaki" which was first produced in the early 17th C. in the region. In good condition without any chip or crack. Late Edo era ( in the early 19 C. ) 33.0cm x 23.5cm x 11.0cm 13.0" x 9.3" x 4.3" Weight 4.0kg
