Absolutely gorgeous silverplate and gilt mirrored plateau by Pairpoint, circa late 19th century. It measures 16" in diameter, and features a beveled edge along the circumference of the mirror. Old gilt frame and watercolor painting, circa early 1900s. The 24” x 20” frame has a decadent floral design on the corners and edges. The watercolor depicts two dogs, probably hunting dogs, on the outskirts of a wooded area. On the back of the frame is the phrase “Sitting Dogs,” which is most likely the title of the painting. The frame is in excellent condition for its age; there are no pieces broken or missing from the frame and most of the gilt is intact...
