Roseville hanging basket with “Clematis” pattern, Zanesville, Ohio, circa 1944. The basket is about 5 3/4 x 5in and has a roundish shape that becomes narrower towards the bottom. The piece of pottery is a tan color and is textured. The clematis flowers are beautifully painted and are lifted from the basket. Blue/ turquoise glazed Van Briggle handmade pot, circa vintage not sure of exact date. Marked on the bottom with a hand signature by the pottery maker, the pot is 2 1/2in tall and 3 3/4in wide. The beautiful glaze starts as a dark blue at the top but gradually transitions into a bright turquoise hue. Handmade at the Van Briggle factory in Colorado Springs.
