This is a 14k gold, Lavender Jadeite ring with a carved floral design and 6 tiny diamonds, 3 on each side. The diamonds are .30 carats. The ring is a size 7. Jadeite is a form of jade, composed of hard silicates of sodium and aluminumm. Jade is formed of silicates of magnesium and calcium. Jadeite was more commonly used to make jewelry and other ornaments in the early 20th century-- more so than Jade -- which is the hallmark for this 1950s to 1960s ring.
