| A masterfully constructed and designed onyx and bronze French figural mantle clock with French bell chime, circa 1890. Titled “Enfant en Guerre,” “Child at War,” the clock was after Augustus Moreau and is by Japy Freres. It is signed and has a seal stating it was made in Paris, France. This magnificent sculptural clock stands 31in tall and is 19 1/2 x 6 1/4in. The footed mantle clock is made of green onyx and gold gilt on the feet and edges of the clock; in addition, it has the bronze sculpture of winged boy, who is holding an arrow, attached to the top of the onyx. The clock still keeps time. The sculpture has a minor crack on the base near the feet of the figure, and there is a small fracture in the onyx towards the bottom of the clock. *Trocadero does not allow customers to put in credit card information, because of security reasons.
