| This hanging plant basket is in the "Futura" pattern, which was introduced in 1928 as a pattern of "modernistic beauty...and of dashing lines"...and today is quite rare. This piece is unusual also in the respect that it has an inside bowl for the protection of the outside pottery basket(seen in photo #4). There is an old repair on the decorative rim, but the colors are well matched(it can be seen in photos #2 and #3). The chains are not the original ones but they were replaced several years ago. The "as is" description is due to the rim repair but the price is reflective of the rarity of the Futura pattern to be found in any vintage Roseville pottery. *Trocadero does not allow customers to put in credit card information, because of security reasons.
