| This is an exquisite enameled porcelain plaque by Camille Faure', circa 1920. The title is "Le Phenix", or The Phoenix. The image is of vibrantly colored phoenix, wings outstretched, landing on a tree. The delicate textures and colors are wonderful, featuring mother of pearl inlay and gilding accents. The plaque is signed at the bottom right, "FAURE' Limoges FRANCE". Framed, the plaque measures 7" tall by 6" wide. The plaque itself measures 3 3/4" by 2 3/4". The plaque is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, no chips, nor any signs of repair. The frame has a couple of dings, but it is not the main course here. | ||
