Pair of Ceremonial Chimu Copper anthropomorphic, zoomorphic Tumis. 850 - 1450 A.D. Collection of Robert Sheridan. Very detailed, 4 inches tall. One Tumi having a priest with large crescent shaped headdress, the priest drinking from a kero/cup and another person adjacent to him with tall thin headdress also drinking (probably sacrifice blood) from a wide cup. The priest is wearing a large tunic and is carrying a llama or alpaca "fireman style" on his back...

Inca Copper Tupu (shawl pin). Ca. A.D. 1476 -1534. This copper Tupu is 5.5 inches long the non-pointed end terminating in a copper Llama. The Llama is hollow with what appears to be a copper rattle bead inside. Both sides are slotted and the back of the Llama has a small loop for tying a retaining cord. Various patina areas throughout. Excellent condition.
