| Aribalo (Arybalo) amphora-like (two opposing handles on central body) Incan classic polychrome vessel. The aribalo was produced in various styles of the Inca in conquered territories and was utilitarian in nature. Globular body with conical base. Two hanging loops on the underside of the flared rim. Front side with two vertical cream panels on brown background with cream geometric design. 7.5 inches/19 cm tall, 5.5 inches/14 cm wide. Acquired pre 1967. Private New Jersey collection. Late horizon ca 1470-1534 | ||
