| Vicus Stirrupped Duck Vessel. Ca 900 BC - 200 AD. 8.5 inches/21.5 cm tall by 9 inches/23 cm long by 6.5 inches/16.5 cm wide. Unique. Monochrome with exception of faded cream vertical bars on left wing. Round base. Sprinkle holes in top and sides of head, beak open showing tongue and demarcated by relief central peak. Eyes also with holes. Wings curved and pronounced. Tail protruding and pronounced. Back of stirrup open to chamber. Acquired by descent pre 1967. Slight repair top of left wing. Small chip end of tail and chipped top of right wing. | ||
