| Salinar spouted stirrup rooster. Very nice piece. Private east coast collection. Ca. B.C. 300 to A.D 100. 10inches/25.4cm tall by 6.75 inches/17.1cm wide. All reddish brown. Pour holes from eyes. Large perforated comb with incised vertical segment striations. Downward curved beak. Having a dimpled collar around neck of bird. Tail feathers protruding from each side of spout base. Feet in relief on vessel reservoir. Stirrup handle from spout to back of head. Very slight chipping on end of wings and one small chip on right tail feather, otherwise in extremely good condition.
