| Chancay Zoomorphic Bottle Vessel. Ca. 1000 - 1400 A.D. 7.5 inches/19cm tall. Acquired by descent 1967. Top of bottle flared and having two small opposing holes meant for a carry or hanging cord. Elaborate spotted dark chocolate feline/jaguar makes up convex top section. Base of bottle red/brown center of bottle demarcated with two spaced lines. Above the demarcation lines terrocotta with continuous esoteric glyphs, possibly avian in nature. Small probe impact hole in base | ||
