A wonderful gourd shaped water dropper displaying boys in a garden scene, this treasure of the scholar is in excellent shape with no chips, cracks, hairlines. Just a nice late 19th/early 20th piece of Chinese porcelain. Measures 3.5" wide x 2.5" high.
A wonderful genuine yixing teapot that is perfectly balanced and well crafted, artist marked under the lid as well as the original shop mark on the base bottom. The texture is smooth on the outside as well as on the inside, the modern ones have a rough texture on the inside as though someone scraped it with a knife. Condition is very good, save a pin prick sized chip on the inside lip of the lid (see last photo)...
Six very small matching porcelain Chinese seal paste boxes. Excellent detailing with real gold accents around head and neck area. All the boxes are in excellent condition no chips, cracks, or repairs. Dated 19th Century Qing Dynasty, these petite boxes measure 1 3/8 inches high and wide.
A rare Chinese porcelain moon flask vase or pilgrim's bottle that is beautifully designed with birds, trees, rocks, flowers and fruit. This hand painted vase is a genuinely old porcelain, so identified by the use of gold accents that is lead based, producing when held in a certain angle a brown appearance but when turned shows a bright gold. This is Chinese doucai porcelain where all the outlines are done in a cobalt blue then later fired with various enamel colors that fill in the design...
A very generous selection of early Guangxu famille rose porcelains, all items are in excellent condition as shown. They feature the phoenix and birds of paradise among flowers and rocks. Notice the spur marks on the spoons, all genuinely old porcelain Chinese spoons will have this feature. The small cake dishes are very cute and provide a wonderful accent to this small collection, all 5 items here shown date to the 1880's and are in a remarkable state of preservation...
Two very beautiful turquoise bowls of the Guangxu reign, so marked and of the period. Butterflies and flowers adorn these bowls and is in excellent unrestored condition, one bowl has a chip on the inside foot rim, further no chips, hairlines, etc. except as noted. Some micro abrasions to interior bottoms of bowls. Dated prior to 1890 Measurements 4.5 diameter x 2.5 inches high. The glaze is rich and vibrant on these bowls (see last 2 photos for best examples)...

A extremely rare 18th century lacquered cosmetic box with M.O.P. inlay. A special feature to this treasure is that it also set in gold wire, interspersed with silver foil. In the center of the geometric stars are diamond shaped pieces of gold, just wonderful! The main theme is a large garden flower with two micro well formed butterflies, the details and workmanship are fantastic. All pieces are intact and the box is one of the best preserved specimens from the 18th century...
This lovely and well painted famille verte vase of the Qing Dynasty tells the story of the battle of Hulao Pass, based on the Ming Dynasty novel of the three kingdoms, these figures come to life.
