A beautiful Qianlong period trumpet vase, specifically designed for floral arrangements; it has the typical flowering lotus vine and banana leaf decoration so commonly found on fine Chinese porcelain. This fine specimen would date to about the first half of the 18th century C. 1760's. The condition is good except that a portion of the flared rim has been professionally restored to museum standards, it does not black light. Unlike older restorations, our restoration specialist uses space age quality materials that will never fade nor yellow. Despite this, the vase here shown is a very rare and desirable attribution to any collection. It stands 14 inches or 36 cm tall. Price adjusted do to market value.
