Japanese Satsuma Mille Fleur Bowl, Early Tashio

A beautiful and entirely hand painted mille fleur (Thousand flower) Japanese satsuma bowl of exceptional quality and brightly painted flowers, no two bowls were exactly alike, each is an individual work of art. The bowl was produced by the Kushida company in the very early Tashio period, pre-1920. This bowl is of the highest possible quality with no noticeable wear, no chips, hairlines, or repairs, its a true flawless treasure of hand painted art with accents of gold gilt. The bowl measures 4.75 inches across and 1.75 inches high.
