A true art lovers paradise is this rare and beautifully rendered Qianjiang painting of A bird among prunus blossoms' The realism of the painted bird exhibits feather-like brushstrokes that appear like real feathers. A blush tone on the underside and a hint of powdered blue on its backside really reflects superior skill. The stamens on the flowers have a 3D effect with all colors coming into perfect harmony. This ginger jar comes with both the antique stand and lid, creating a beautiful contrast. In excellent condition with a few minor chips on the inside lip, not visible with the lid in place, further no cracks, no hairlines or damage, other than the general wear and tear from genuine antique age. Circa 1900. The jar measures 7 6/8 inches without the stand and lid. With stand and lid, it measures 13 6/8 inches.
