| Japanese Zen Buddhist altar shrine or spirit house. The altar is made from a light Japanese pine and is beautifully lacquered. The exterior doors open to reveal another set of red double doors. There is some slight deterioration to the hinges on the left side, but they have been professionally repaired and stabilized. Measures 26" high, 15" wide and 12" deep. Rare to see in this smaller size and to have a drawer. Circa late 1930s, early 1940's. | ||||||||||||
