Fabulous enamel over copper cloisonne bowl from the mid 20th century featuring a floral motif. The design each side is of a basket overflowing with colorful flowers. One side has a light blue ribbon on the basket’s handle, while the other side has a vibrant red-orange ribbon. The background enameling is rich looking medium to dark greens. The inside is turquoise enamel. Copper reposse temple lion heads adorn opposite sides.
Very sturdy and in excellent condition, it measures approximately 16” diameter, 17” high with stand (12” bowl only) Note: A mirror image of this fish bowl is available, however, there are some subtle differences in the flowers. If interested, I will be glad to email photos. |
