| A very rare and unique opium box, in the shape of a celestial ball. This golden boxwood beauty is inscribed with the shou character for longevity, as well as being adorned with precious objects. The carving is well done and is intricately cross hatched in between the main design patterns. Bottom is sectioned into three parts and well configured, white metal insert with contrasting copper rim, makes this global boxwood beauty the rare Chinese treasure.
