| Often referred to as green cinnabar is this very dark green Chinese lacquer box carved in a pattern known as a thousand flowers. Dating 1850-1880's, the carving is intricate and deep. From the private collection of David (d.) and Renate Shang, this is a welcome addition to any Chinese cinnabar collection. The word "China" is etched on the bottom and was done after the box was made. In very good condition, it measures 4” x 4” x 2” (10.2 cm x 10.2 cm x 5.1 cm). Marked CHINA | ||||||||
