Lovely piece of Australiana by Royal Doulton - this ashtray is in the form of the map of Australia, with major port cities. It has two flags and the AUSTRALIAN COMMONWEALTH MILITARY FORCES Insignia in the centre. 5" X 4" at widest. Very good condition for its age. It does have crazing and 2 small chips under Melbourne, as well as a couple of frits and a tight hairline (strong craze line) under Adelaide.
