Cuthbert Bailey developed Crystalline Ware for Royal Doulton in 1904. He left in 1907, making this extremely rare. This stunning example of Art Deco carltonware is 4 1/2" high and in Excellent condition. It has the blue scripted mark and impressed 1234 with pattern 3643. The Royal Doulton COACHING DAYS Series was designed by Victor Venner and in production from 1905 - 1955. The Jackdaw of Rheims is one of the Ingoldsby Legends, a series of tales written by Richard Harris Barham in 1840.
