| The Royal Doulton GALLANT FISHERS Series (D3680) was in production from 1913 - 1936. There are 6 recorded scenes and this Lennox Flower Bowl features scene 6: 'Two men fishing on wall, one glum, one smiling'; and a variation on the other side with both smiling. This features 2 of 3 titles: 'AND WHEN THE TIMROUS TROUT I WAIT TO TAKE AND HE DEVOURS MY BAIT' and 'OF RECREATION THERE IS NONE SO FREE AS FISHING IS ALONE'. This jardinierre is 6 1/2" high and 8" in diameter, and in excellent condition with no repairs guaranteed. This series has a special backstamp. | |
