| Kobe toys are wooden mechanical dolls. Production began after the opening of the Kobe port in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan in 1868 as a high-class expensive souvenir that only foreigners who came to Kobe with luxurious ships could afford to purchase. This lovely piece is 6" long and 4" high. The neck and arm are animated - as you push the cart the neck elongates and the arm bangs the drum. Great condition except that something is missing from the left hand - perhaps its a fan or a paddle? YOUR SATISFACTION IS MY UNCONDITIONAL GUARANTEE! Please ask about THE DICEMAN... | |
