| The Royal Doulton COACHING DAYS Series was designed by Victor Venner and in production from 1905 - 1955. The BLUE SKIES and SNOW (E2768) limited series were only made at the start and were mostly done in the finer bone china. A combination of transfer printing and hand painting creates the impression of depth. There are 20 recorded scenes and this rare 10 1/2" Rack Plate features scene 13: 'Struggling through the snow, extra horses'. Of particular interest is the use of this scene in the appropriate SNOW colourway - this is possibly unique! Excellent condition - no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing.
