BATEMAN STERLING SILVER LABELS (London 1804)

A lovely George III sterling silver pair of labels for RUM and GIN by Peter, Ann & William Bateman. The hallmark shows London, 1804. The labels measure 1 1/2" by 5/8", and are in excellent original condition. The Rum label has the lion passant, the monarch's head, the letter 'G', and the hallmark used by Peter, Ann & William Bateman (PB,AB,WB). The GIN label is missing the makers mark, but they are clearly a matched pair and should be kept together.
