Antique Chinese cloisonne plate with metal rim, considered to be dated back to Ming Dynasty (1368-1644),
selected and applied to be used for tea ceremony in Japan for years as an imported tea plate ('Karamono Kashiki') of tea people's taste.
Fine antique condition with expected flaws as seen.
Attached with aged wrapping cloth, and handed-down woodbox with sign, as "Shippo-bachi" (Cloisonne ware)
(*Damage at backside of lid, but functional enough as a box).
