Antique Japanese Bizen mizusashi water jar with kiln-mark (kamajirushi) as a handed-down piece, dates back to Edo period, 19th century or earlier. Attached with a well-adjustable black-lacquered lid with wavy top-surface as a custom-made, ordered by the former owner. Tasteful surface texture with mature rich expression, "designed" to be restored with gold-lacquer ('kintsugi'), turned to an unique scenery. Fine antique condition as is.
