masculine massive size and body molded roundly, with comfortable slight ridge belt in loops around the center of wall; hearty and rich crackled feldspar glaze of pure white color with transparent abstract iron-glaze picture as modest underglaze landscape ('keshiki'), with scenic finger mark for glazing process ('yubi-ato') as another highlights specially for Shino piece; a low, round foot with spiral pattern ('uzumaki-Kodai') underneath
Fine condition with No damage. Quality genuine Shino tea bowl (E-Shino chawan) succeeding to the tradition as its essence, though an unidentified masterpiece (but signed). Highly recommended for thick tea ('Koi-Cha') as practical use.
