These four pieces fabrics were once sewn together into a kimono. Now they are ready to be reborn to a different form of textile art. The fabric is made from hand span cotton, dyed with traditional indigo dye, woven into a great traditional pattern of Iyo (Matsuyama in Ehime region) Kasuri. The abstract patten may be a motif from bamboo forest, showing straight vertical lines with smaller vertical lines on both sides. One small section of a fabric is slightly darker than the rest due to it was once a part of kimono and the reverse or the interior part was less exposed to the sun. The price includes four pieces of fabrics and each measures 13" wide by 46" long.
