Large 19th C terracotta sculpture in the Italian Renaissance style of a beautiful woman. All original with no repairs or touch-ups, rarely do you find our of these pieces with the paint and gold gilt intact. This piece has just been lightly dusted with a soft brush for the past 25 years. An decorators dream, this very impressive bust measures a little over 18" high x 15" wide at the base. Circa 1880-90.

An lovely English majolica pitcher with flowers and a hummingbird on a basket weave background. The cherry tree blossoms reflect a Japanese influence. In excellent antique condition. No cracks or hairlines. Anything that looks like a crack in the photos is actually crazing of the glaze, exactly what you want to see in a 150 year old piece of majolica. Measures 6" high. Mid to late 1800s.

A richly glazed majolica begonia leaf dish. The glaze almost flawless with no or little micro abrasions. There is some very minor wear around the edges with a small chip at one of the points, see last photo (enlarged). This stunning dish measures measures 7.5" long, 6" wide, and 1.5" high.
