An early Jugtown salt glaze stoneware bowl with 3 stylized cobalt flowers around the exterior complemented by an incised decoration. Inside the bowl is a stunning deep cobalt. A wonderful example of early North Carolina Jugtown ware. In excellent condition, it measures 5.5" in diameter x 3" high.

A well designed Chinese-inspired Jugtown stoneware vase with a beautiful frogskin glaze. In excellent condition, it is stamped on the bottom and measures 8.25" high x 4" diameter.

A perfect early example of the famous Jugtown pottery chicken bowl. The chicken is rendered in a yellow glaze with the orange clay covered in a clear lead glaze. What makes this piece really special is the nice speckling in the clay. Marked with the older JUGTOWN WARE logo, this bowl is in excellent condition bowl and measures about 6.5" at its widest and a little under 2.25" high. A "must have" for the serious collector of North Carolina pottery.
