A fine Roman blown glass bottle in a deep amethyst color. Most likely a medicinal flask or unguent vial. It is evenly translucent with very little earthen deposits and encrustation. This Roman antiquity is free from repair. Quite rare and beautifully well preserved, it dates circa 1st-3rd century A.D. Measurements 4.75" x 3".

1st to 2nd Century Roman jarlet of pale green glass. The original burial encrustation has been left intact for authentication purposes; a nice iridescence is observed in the exposed area about the lip. In excellent ancient condition, it measures 2.75" high x 2.5" high.
