A richly glazed majolica begonia leaf dish. The glaze almost flawless with no or little micro abrasions. There is some very minor wear around the edges with a small chip at one of the points, see last photo (enlarged). This stunning dish measures measures 7.5" long, 6" wide, and 1.5" high. A very unusual English majolica dish with an applied white fern. Detailing is excellent. Comprised of 3 colors: turquoise, green, and white. Some wear to the high points of the fern and some expected chipping around the edges. Measures 7" by 7". Mid to late 1800s.
