| This fabulous French black enamel over wrought iron bed with brass medallions featuring the Huntress and Goddess Dianna, was expertly restored and converted from a double to a queen size bed. The restoration was done in England 32 years ago. The bed was cut about 10" in from each side, extended, and re-enameled. It is extremely difficult to locate the ares of extension. Not pictured, but we do have, the side rails. The head measures 56.5" high, foot 42.5" high, and width is about 60". We date this rare and fantastic find circa 1865.
