| An exquisite 18 kt gold brooch with a hidden bale which unfolds into pendant position as shown in the photos. The 18 kt gold setting is brilliant cut with open cut work. The polished lapis lazuli cabochon is a deep blue with obvious golden inclusions of shimmering pyrite. Unfortunately our photos are not able to capture the high quality of this gemstone, which measures 1" high x .75" wide. The pendant with the bale folded under in hidden position, measures 1.75" high x 1.25. In excellent condition, we date this circa 1930-40. Appraised value $1,250. 8.6 dwt.
