A fine and rare early Ming dynasty 15th century Interregnum - Hongzhi period blue and white large dish, rounded side with raising rim and glazed base, dish decorated with under glaze blue of fine drawing large peacock bird motif among flower scroll motif on the center, flower lotus scroll motif at inner wall, outer wall also with flower scroll motif. Dish is in good condition, no chip, no restoration, crackeled glaze surface at the outer wall. Size: 31.5 cm diameter. |
